Tray denesting technology
Subsequently, a Speed-Disp machine is manufactured that can denest the tray in question. This tray then functions as the reference tray.
Concurrent with the assessment of one or several different trays, the trays are always measured by means of specially designed digital measuring equipment.
It is verified if the trays’ measurements and tolerances conform
to the measurements indicated in the data sheet.
All measurement data are read digitally.
It is verified if the various tray stacks’ centricity tolerances conform to the
measurements indicated in the data sheet.
All measurements data are read digitally.
Shown here with measurements of a specific tray.
10 different trays are measured with the same part number
(trays manufactured in the same mould).
All measurement data are transferred digitally and are then registered and processed in a spreadsheet.
It is then possible to obtain an overview of the variations in all the measured trays.
Automatically generated red boxes indicate if the tray does not conform to the length and width tolerances indicated in the datasheet relating to the tray in question. In addition, it is indicated how large are the measured differences (length and width) between the various trays.
By the help of a green column to the right JKT verifies that a SPEED-DISP equipped with the A2 TRAY DENESTING TECHNOLOGY is capable of denesting the trays in question. All trays are denested in the one and same SPEED-DISP A2 machine.
Shown here with measurements of the same tray in nine different versions (trays manufactured in different moulds).
From the same tray manufacturer.
Nine different tray stacks are therefore measured.
All measurement data are transferred digitally and registered and processed in a spreadsheet. It is then possible to obtain an overview of all the measured tray stacks
Automatically generated red boxes indicate if some of the measured tray stacks do not conform to the centricity tolerances indicated in the trays’ respective data sheets. In addition, it is indicated how large the measured centricity differences (lenghth and width) are in relation to the various tray stacks.
By the help of a green column to the right JKT verifies that a SPEED-DISP equipped with the A2 TRAY DENESTING TECHNOLOGY is capable of denesting all of the measured tray stacks. Even with the many variations in the centricity measurements.
The trays are from the same product family, but have many different designs and part numbers. All the trays are denested in the one and same SPEED-DISP A2 machine.
On the basis of an assessment of the measurement results and by carefully making allowances for the measured differences, it is possible for JKT to configure an A2 denesting tool so that several different trays with many and relatively large variations and differences can now be denested error-free in the one and same Speed-Disp A2 tray denesting machine.
This is possible because the JKT A2 denesting technology is intelligent and tolerance-compensating.
If you are looking for a more detailed and in-depth explanation of how JKT analyses the centricity differences that may be found when several different stacks of trays have been measured?
Then this document will describe to you how it is possible for the A2 technology to exploit fully the INTELLIGENT and TOLERANCE-COMPENSATING ability.
